Agua Dulce Airpark

Located just over the hills from the Los Angeles basin is a quant little airport called the Agua Dulce Airpark Ranch. Agua Dulce is a privately owned public-use airport.

The airport was built in 1958 by Jim Annin and two partners. In the 1990s, local residents fought an attempt by Los Angles County to buy the airpark and convert it to a regional airport. In October of 2005, former airport owner Barry Kirschner sold the property to Wayne and Connie Spears, owners of Spears Manufacturing and Spears Motor Sports.

I suggest you watch the calendar for an event at Agua Dulce and visit them then.
